Miller Wachman LLP is a Certified Public Accounting office with locations in Boston and Holliston, Massachusetts.

History

Miller Wachman was formed in 1969 when the founding partners, all of whom were members of the George Miller or the Abraham Wachman firms, decided to practice public accounting together when both Miller and Wachman died in 1969.  Miller and Wachman's separate practices dated back to the 1930s.

Our privacy policy pertains to non-public, personal information about current and former clients as follows: We do not sell information to third parties.  We do not disclose non-public information except as necessary to provide our services and as required by law.

In order to provide our services and to comply with strict professional guidelines, we retain records relating to the services we provide.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards in place to protect these records.  We continually evaluate new technology for protecting information.

Employee access is limited, and employees are subject to a strict employment policy regarding confidentiality.

Introduction to the Partners

Stephen Gunzburger, CPA, MBA, MST Managing partner at Miller Wachman LLP.  He received his Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.  He is designated as an ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He specializes in complex accounting and auditing issues.  Steve is closely involved with his clients, who cover a wide range of industries including manufacturing, finance, real estate, retail and clients subject to PCAOB oversight (listed companies).  Steve began his audit career as a Federal bank examiner.

Charles Metjian, Jr., JD, CPA received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Science in Taxation from Bentley College and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is the past chairman of the State Taxation Committee of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Charlie also serves on the HLB-USA tax advisory committee.  Charlie is a regular presenter at state tax seminars, and has extensive experience with multi-state tax issues.

K. Barlow Pang, CPA, MSA graduated from Bentley University with a Master Degree in Accountancy.  Before re-joining our firm, Barlow was an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, Boston office.  Barlow has worked as a controller at various privately-held companies in Hong Kong and China.  He has extensive experience in providing assurance, complex accounting and consulting services for public and private sectors.  He specializes in US GAAP, IFRS and Hong Kong and China tax issues.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Robin Katzman, CPA graduated from Wellesley College with a bachelor of arts degree and holds an additional BA from Hebrew College.  Robin has extensive auditing experience, with a particular emphasis in not-for-profit organizations and retirement plans.  Over the years, Robin has served as a board member for several not-for-profit organizations.  She is a member of the AICPA and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Anthony M. DiRubio, II, CPA, MBA  received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in taxation from Bentley University. He has over 20 years of experience providing audit and financial reporting services to public and private companies, with a specialty in real estate including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Prior to joining Miller Wachman LLP, Tony was an Experienced Manager at a large national accounting firm where he served a number of private and publicly held companies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
